Memorandum of Understanding

Greenland Educational Foundation GEF-Egypt aims to contribute to making the world a better place through the development of education in Egypt. To that end, GEF-Egypt initiated a pilot charity project where GPIS-Egypt school leaders support two new governmental schools on their learning journey to meet the requirements and conditions of becoming IBPYP, IBMYP and IBDP authorized, offering the programme in both Arabic and English. The two schools are located in Greater Cairo, one in Sheikh Zayed and the other in New Cairo.

On May 2014, the following parties have met and agreed on

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING “MOU": 

First Party:  

Ministry of Education of Egypt (“MOE”), represented by His Excellency Minister of Education.

Second Party:

International Baccalaureate Organization, a Swiss foundation, (hereinafter, the “IB”), represented by Dr.Siva Kumari, acting in her capacity as Director General of the IB and Mr. Adrian Kearney, acting in his capacity as Regional Director, Africa, Europe and Middle East of the IB.

Third Party:

Green Land Educational Foundation -GEF Egypt -represented by Mr. Amr A. Mokhtar -Founding Chairman
